Joseph Renzi, DDS
Dr. Renzi is a Southern California native who received his undergraduate degree in biology, as well as his master’s degree in biology with emphasis in population genetics and ecology, from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his dental degree from Georgetown University and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Renzi is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has been practicing for over 27 years. He maintains a conscious sedation permit and is an examiner for the conscious sedation permit licensing exam for the Dental Board of California.
He is also a past-president of the Orange County Dental Society and the Southern California chapter of the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, and the American College of Dentists. He is a member of the American Dental Association , the California Dental Associaion, Orange County Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the Southern California Sociey of Dentistry for Children. Dr. Renzi is also a member of the Part-Time Faculty at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry.
Dr Renzi has contributed to the community by being the Co-Chair of the Gifted And Talented Education (GATE) advisory board for the Irvine Unified School District. He continues to be involved in legislative issues that affect the profession of Dentistry and the community.
Dr. Renzi maintains Medical Staff Privileges at Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, and Western Medical Center, Santa Ana. He is Active on the CHOC staff as a member of the Interdisciplinary Committee. Dr. Renzi has published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has given several lectures on oral health topics to professional organizations.

Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
